Summary:
Willow is a very small island. Can be covered in a few minutes. It is not designed for cycling, and may be prohibbited at times.
It is a picnic area and consists of a small walking trail around the island.
Not worth the ferry price if you just want to cycle the trail. There are barbecues and firepits that are open to public use Monday thru Friday Noon to 4pm. At other times access is restricted to prearranged bookings.
Not recommended for fast trail riders, more of a "nothing better to do" riders and very small children.

Recommended Route:
From the dock, turn left, past the washrooms. Proceed in a circular route around the island.
This will return you to the dock.

i was there once when i lived in regina and the man does not lie about the geese. BRING YOUR GUN!!!!!!

swim or try to ride to the island. it will be more fun.
