Summary: As of the end of the 09 DH season, there are 13 lift accessed DH trails. They are: Q-Cup, National, Bill's, Dirty Little Secret, Salamander, Hairway to Stephen, Other Woman, No-Name, Rockfest, Evergreen, Crazy Train, Uber-punch and Koch-punch. All of the trails are very well built and are a hell of a lot of fun. Here's my little rundown of each trail:
Q-Cup: starts with The Dump, a big ole rock garden, it does look pretty brutal, but really isn't that bad. As long as your line choice is good, you'll be fine. It then drops into a really fun and relatively smooth section with a couple berms. In my opinion, the most fun section is after the S-berm. There is a really fun wooden drop, a berm, a table, a hip and some pump/roller things. It then spits you back into the open right near the bottom. The Dump gets a double diamond from me, but everything below it is fairly easy. The whole thing is just plain fun
National: named so because a Canadian national Dh race as held on it in 1999. National is a super fast trail, fairly tech and a generally fun rip.
Bill’s: is a fairly short, but very tech trail. There is a series of rock faces/chutes leading up to Bill’s Corner (aka Couch Corner) which is a steep rock face to a steep and tight rock garden
Dirty Little Secret: DLS is a pretty easy trail, about 90% of which is on open ski run. You can connect up to lower Q-cup (below The Dump), or go to lower DLS.
Salamander: probably the easiest, but one of the most fun DH trails at Fortune. 20 berms, what else do I have to say?
Other Woman: is very steep and tech. One of the coolest parts about it is the cork-screw bridge down the side of a VERY steep ridge. This trail is guaranteed to get your heart going.
Hairway to Stephen: Hairway is EXTREMELY steep. You can’t let off the brakes on this trail
No-Name: nothing to difficult on No-Name, aside from the steep rock face which can catch you off guard and Matt’s Drop right at the end.
Rockfest: Rockfest is a cool trail. There is one really sharp, steep and generally hairy turn on it, and a really fun drop to wooden berm. There is also a drop that’s about 4ft right at the end, some people say it’s roll-able, but I don’t understand how that’s possible.
Evergreen: requires a quick hike (no more than 4 min) to get to, but it is more than worth it. The top section is pretty mellow, but the rest is really steep and pretty tech. One of the coolest things on Evergreen is this steep chute between two rocks that leads directly into a bridge. It’s definitely one of my favorite trails at Fotrune, and since it doesn’t get ridden very often, the soil is sooo loamy.
Recommended Route: My favorite run is upper National, to full Q-Cup. this line is just the perfect mix of fast, flowy and tech. This would make an awesome race trail
Other recommended trails in the same area: With the closure of Calabogie, CF is the only place within an hour of Ottawa with lift accessed DH. There are also a few *secret* trails on the hill, but if I told you where they are, NCC ninjas would come and behead me. *cough* Jacob's *cough*

Summary: This trail has every thing(but no teaders or ewalk bridges). It start with a fast smooth part with a few 3-4' hits goes on to a 7-9'er. the middle section is a very nice rocky muddy mufti lined wide track then it narrows to some fast winding single(still muddy rocky and rooty) and finishes with a ride down the end of a ski hill that is covered with loose rocks(hairy on a hard tail). There are allot of sections on this trail that allot of people wont try there first try on it just step back find the best lign and go for it. For a beginer rider you might want to walk it first encase so you don't have to lug you bike up the hill. The key for this trail(and I guess for every trail) is Flow.
Recommended Route: Chair lift

Summary: Some parts are really tricky, and if you're on there for the first time, I think you should stop at every little tough section, and pick out a good line. It's still pretty fun on a hardtail, but you might want armor if you're gonna go fast...know what am sayin'.
Recommended Route: go to Camp Fortune, climb up to the top of Skyline, then go back down...
Other recommended trails in the same area: Slalom course nearby. 6.9km xc course is a fun race.
