Ridden Trail:
Once a month

Reviewed by: Ryan , from Boston

Summary:
The shameful Intrawest (look at that stock price crumble)is pro-golf, pro-shopper, pro-eater and anti-biker. I agree - no summer dh = no winter skiing (for my friends and I). Want to make golf and a phony Austrian village your priorities - go right ahead. You win some and you lose many. If only I was the pesticide supplier to Intrawest - I'd be rich from the golf course contracts alone.

Recommended Route:
Don't go - summer or winter.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Ste. Anne, Bromont, Killington

Ridden Trail:
Every few months

Summary:
There's nothing left to review. Intrawest is following demographics and catering to the senior set. Bad company making bad decisions. We won't forget it.

Recommended Route:
Nothing to recommend. Another anti-biking decision by Intrawest. No bikes during the summer - fine. We won't ski there in the winter. Idiots.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Just go to Bromont (it's always been better).

Ridden Trail:
Once a year

Reviewed by: Vincent , from Hull, Qubec

Summary:
Claiming "environmental" reasons, Intrawest (the resort owner) has closed all downhill trails this year. That's it. Well, the bottom line is that Intrawest has done a pretty good job over the years of bulldozing a very decent network of trails on and around the mountain, in order to make way to new ski runs, parking lots, access roads, multiple golf courses (dumping tons of pesticides and fungicides in the local ecosystem)and paved paths. They basically did everything they could to drive away riders and attract wealthy seniors (well, good for them, some day, I'll be one)instead. So, some trails are indeed left but they are not worth the trip, especially considering the fact that they bulldoze a few more every year. Conclusion, to avoid, but bring instead your inline skates. A few segments of the old MTB trail network have become a wicked skate run.

Recommended Route:
Changes every year. Intrawest (the resort owner) keeps destroying trails all the time. The downhill is closed. What's left are some trails like "La chouette" squeezed between new golf courses, parking lots and paved paths.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Try the Mont-Tremblant park instead. No very technical but extensive and "charming".

Summary:
Tremblant is full of shit. They don't maintain trails, charge an arm and leg to ride boring trails, and then invent some lame excuse to cancel the 2001 season. I don't even like to ski there anymore. Give your money to someone who deserves it, like Coaticook, Glen, or some other smaller locations
