Summary:
LIke the other reviews said, mainly for cardio and wide-track. Not for spending the day there. I did find a great singletrack but it brought me to the way other side of the mountain!
Good for beginner's to practice their gear-shifting and cardio.

Recommended Route:
Charging $3.00 a bike plus parking for two = $13.50. WHAT?!?!?!?!?!
Definitely not worth the money.

Summary:
I was quite disappointed with this trail. It is supposed to be single-track, but it's a double-track. The signage (trail direction) is terrible. We ended up going the wrong way, and had to push our bikes up the downhill sections. There should be a trail map at the trail-head, like the one at the summit; it clearly indicated the trail direction.
There were also hikers on the trail, even though they have their own trails at the other end of the parking lot. It's a little disturbing knowing that you might come around a corner and slam into a hiker!
It would be great if there were some technical trails, with switch-backs, bridges & teeter-totters. That would definitely make the $3.50 access fee more worth it.

Recommended Route:
It's a loop, so you only get to do the one trail!

Summary:
As mentioned in other reviews, this is indeed a cardio oriented run. A 5' wide bulldozed gravel road in the woods. The trails are mostly up and down, not much flat. I understand there are other trails by the beach for that. The only technical to be found is in downhilling at high speeds in the loose cobblestones or in the rain ruts, or perhaps riding in the pure bush (possible). Trail is worthwhile for the intermediate rider looking to climb, and descend a little mtn in what feels like deep woods. Great place to improve/learn.
Overall: I rate this to be a good traditional XC trail, long hills, with some rewarding downhills, has a nice view at top with tables for rest and possibly picnic. Also has washrooms and bikes washing facilities at bottom.
