Summary: This is a nice technical ride that has a bit of everything. The mountain can be climbed on a bike when you take it from the north side. The north and south part are cool for DH and are very different from one to the other. Congratulation to the dum** A** who started a forest fire on top of the mountain !!!!!
*Make sure u have a good helmet, water and a good cardio !!
Recommended Route: Park at 'La Gare' or B52 for old timers !, take le ptit train du nord, ride in the christmas tree plantation until the end of the mountain.
Go left, cross the little river, then turn right on the lumberjack road (ride about 1k), then right again on the lumberjack work place, this way you take the mountain by the north. As you go up you will see a trail on your right, take it and u should make it to the MOC.
Other recommended trails in the same area: Mont-Habitant, Loup-Garou, bellefeuille (place citation)

Summary: ?I ride those trails 1-2/week , they are extremely fun and sometime dangerous. VERY rocky , very technical, some good descent.
You have all the different patern in one place. There is a lot of pro who ride those trail for training.
-Caution there is some trail that past very near 100-200 ft drop-
For experience rider or expert only. Those trails are rought XC with little DH, some creek , little lake and swamp a lot of rocks and dead trees. The rocks are very sharp so get a good helmet. Very easy to get lost.
In the past 2 years they cut a LOT of trees so some trails disapeard or moved and there is a lot of new rought single track, so the map is usefull but not very accurate. If you enter a old or bad trail it will be boring very fast because you will walk more then ride...
Recommended Route: don' t go when it' s raining or at they begining of spring

Summary: Just one word: horrible.
Way too many HUGE rocks, more roots than available dirt to ride on, absolutely impossible to pedal towards the top.
You will walk as much as you will ride. Where lumbering has occured, all trail indicators have been removed.
Yes this is my first year riding, however i have been to Kingdom Trails and Coaticook, so I have enough judgement to know that I had absolutely no fun and will not return.
PS. If you make a mistake off the JE trail/Chemin de la Riviere, and end up on Chemin des Carrieres trying to get to the Petit Train du Nord bike path, I hope you don't get run down to the ground by the same Rottweiller that got me.
Recommended Route: Go somewhere else, really.
Other recommended trails in the same area: Go to Kingdom Trails in East Burke, Vermont, or Coaticook, Quebec!

Summary: This is the most elite trail i saw, it has everything, technical climb, nice picth to jump, good game DH and lots of place where u can get urself badly hurt belive me on that :). Anyway if u think u can climb all of it in one shot be in shape it took me awhile to know every little detail of the trail. Be very careful some trail arent for midget, ull be riding down like a rock fallin from a cliff.
Recommended Route: 15 nord, then 117 toward prevost, u will see a place call le faubourg de la station, behind it there a parking lots that u can park, you will see le petit train du nord just go on it direction mont-laurier about a few meter and u will see a little trail climbing up the mouuintain
Other recommended trails in the same area: It one of the best cross-coontry trail ive done, ithas it all.
