This trail is made for hikers, not bikers. With this in mind, it is an excellent trail to experience a technical thrill along with sections of pure adrenalizing speed. Keep your head up because an endo awaits you around every corner. The scenery is breathtaking.

Once a year

Summary:
Alpin is actually a hiking trail but if you go early enough in the season it is devoid of hikers. Great fast technical trail and climb is a bitch. Lots of stumbs, rocks, and mub to make things interesting. Overly interesting at times. The best part of the ride is biking to the top of the mountain and knowing that you have 4.5KM of singletrack in front of you on the way down.

Recommended Route:
Take the service road from the bottom of the mountain all the away to the top 2100 feet away.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
La Diablo or a something like that.
