Summary:
Awesome, You can find everything at Three Stage. A healthly set of lungs is a must, but once you get up those hills the descent is great..There is alot of techincal areas scattered throughout. Visit the Elevator Shaft for a shot of adrenalin,,,Very technical, body armer would be helpfull. Overall two days of awesome riding a few scraps and bruses..Totally Worth it..

Recommended Route:
Hit a bike shop in Collingwood, Pick up a Three Stage map...$8.00,, but worth the money...gives you directions to the parking areas, very usefull on the trail..

Summary:
It's been awhile since I was last at Three Stage but I enjoyed it immensely. Large trail network of singletrack and fire roads/snowmobile routes. Kind of neat to have "road signs" marking intersections of trails (for snowmobile use mainly) so you can usually get your bearings in case you get lost. Not as intense as nearby Kolapore but some nasty uphill climbs (uh, I mean rides). Make sure you have the lungs and stamina or you may be disappointed. Nice for a change of scenery to those familiar with the area but if you only have a day to kill consider Kolapore or if you don't want to kill yourself try Loree Forest in Collingwood.

Recommended Route:
Access up New Mountain Roadto first left, follow past Molson Rock through intersection, straight ahead a few Km's and you can't miss it. Note: Deerhunter's in fall season, Careful!

Other recommended trails in the same area:
As said above.
