River Bluffs

Good x-country with some decent downhill sections. It goes right along the river so it is a very pretty trail.

Summary:
Good thing the idiots below don't know that there are a number of good stunts in the woods. Maybe they did see them but were big pussys and saw them as a hinderance to their lycra clad, heart rate monitor agenda. Stay on your road bike!

All the people that have wrote in bad mouthing the trails in the bluffs. Should ride the two new trails, then you can complain if you find it two easy. I found these new trails very technicail and not for the weak of heart. These trails are not that long but they are very cool.

Summary:
Minuses:
1. Half this route is PAVEMENT.
2. Both Blenheim Rd and James St are hills so you have to climb at the beginning and end.
3. The trails at Langdon Hall and Blair Rail Trail are multi-use so you have to watch out for Hikers.
4. Both Blenhaim and Blair Rd's are heavy traffic(especially Blair Rd). So you have to watch out for 4 wheelers. Pluses
1. This is roughly a 20k loop. This can be a good workout.
2. At Langdon Hall you can stop for a couple of frosties (if you got the bucks) or High Tea. Pick one.
3. At the top of Blenheim Rd, it goes down hill with railway track crossing the road. Pick up enough speed and you can get AIR-BORNE.

Unless you live in the Cambridge area or stopping by with an hour or two to kill don't make the trip.
