Summary:
I would agree with the last guy, its a bit confusing once you get into the hardwood section, especially since it seems that people have made cuts from one sectino to the other, and as it was my first time riding in this forest i got a bit lost.

Overall though the trail was nice, and has some fun sections, some seriously twisty track in the pine trees, and then the trail gets more and more technical as you ride it.

Recommended Route:
??? wish someone had a gps run of this place, or maybe if someone does maintain it it could have better markings then the blue paint which is hard to see sometimes...

Summary:
Nice mix of single track through pines with nice flow, and more technical hardwoods with technical climbs. Can be a bit confusing do to multiple trails crossing all over the place.
There is one hardwood hill that you have to climb about 6 times in a row if you follow the blazed trail.

If you do all the technical climbs I would give it a 5 for technical, but if you skip that stuff it would only be a 3.

Aerobic wise there are some good hill climbs with little mercy at the bottom.

Does anyone know who maintains these trails? I wouldn't mind helping out, and would like to make a few sections a little more "Flowy".

Recommended Route:
From the parking lot start from the north end (near the 401), and follow the yellow and blue trail blazes (spray paint). It is yellow on the right and blue on the left. If you follow these markings you will do about a 18km ride. There are a few spots where it is difficult to go the right way and trail intersections, and you may miss several km's of trail or redo a bunch.
The only muddy section is along the 401 in the first 5 minutes of the ride.
Try and avoid cutting across switchbacks and widening the trail. I have been placing logs across the worst shortcuts to avoid wrecking the trail.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Waterloo Hydrocut - more flowing but doesn't have the technical level of the Puslinch hardwoods.

Summary:
Nice to see Puslinch (aka Twin Ponds) make it on here. This trail brings an excellent mix of steep ups and downs with some fun switch backs in the middle. There is a good amount of trails that hit multiple difficulties and make it good for any rider. If you look hard...and dont mind exploring, you'll find some nice technical stuff to test you as well...nothing too tough.

It makes for a pretty good workout, totally worth the trip. And hey, you can hop off the trail and hit a Micky D's, thats alright ;)

Recommended Route:
Coming from the KW, just park at the back of the Mcdonalds parking lot, you'll see a few openeings. From Guelph get on 24 and hang a left on Wellington Rd 32, and take it all the way, cross over the 401 and you'll see it on the left.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Guelph Lake, Hydro Cut, Hilton Falls, Kelso.
