There is a map showing the main trails and once you are out on them there are plenty of side trails not shown. It's fun to start with the Southern Outlier loop which is up the hill to the right of the parking lot. Ride in the main access trail until you see a trail cut up to the right. Ride past it a bit and double back because you need a run at it. Ride the loop and when you meet another trail take it to the right and it will bring you back to the parking lot. From there head off into the park to enjoy the trails in the back. The access trails start at the bottom of the valley so there will be some big climbing to get to the sweet single track in the north east section of the park. It's the price you pay for so much joy. Explore and you'll find lots of fun riding.

Trail Directions
Take Hwy 10 North from Orangeville ( I'm assuming your coming from somewhere south such as TO. If you coming from the north reverse directions) Take right turn at the sign that says mono centre this way. Follow the signs to the village of mono centre. There's a small pub. That's pretty much it. Just past the the pub on the left is the entrance to Mono Centre Provincial Park. The parking lot is small and can be really crowded on the weekends. In addition to Mono Centre you can get to another riding area from here. The Bruce trail runs through this area. If you head south on the Bruce (there are some road sections) you will come to Hockley Valley Provincial Park. Tons of fun single track with lots of super steep ups and downs. This is a fairly advanced area and I'm not sure if it's even open for riding anymore but if it OK to ride then you shouldn't miss it.

Well, this was our class trip to the Mono Cliffs Educational Center. It was AMAZING! Mono Cliffs is an excellent place for recreation. I found a dead porcupine in one of the caves *poor guy*. Our whole class wanted to stay for more than just the 4 days that we stayed before. We also found a beaver dam, and one of the supervisors noted that there are white-tailed deer in that area!

Recommended Route:
I dunno, we went on a bus.

I STRONGLY reccomend that you go there and enjoy yourself in one of the best parks I've ever seen.

Summary:
Well like other people have said, it used to be awsome. My friends and I used to spend whole days there, years ago, but now we don't really bother. All of the good trails have been killed and the rest are filled with rude hikers. The top loop is still awsome. Hope that log doesn't get taken out cause hikers are triping on it. My rating of two is only because of fond memories and the top loop.

Recommended Route:
doesn't matter anymore

mansfield (now it's good and keeps getting better)

Summary:
Sucks that they closed all the good trails to bikes but theres still some nice hiking trails. A couple of good summits to look out over. If you take the trail at the outdoor ed parking lot(upper lot), to EAST, turn right before a set of stairs. on a hill in that field you can see the CN tower on a clear day.

Recommended Route:
Start at the south parking lot, ride the trail past the picnic area and the lake with the little bench. Take the left trail to another lake with a little waterfall at the other side. Keep left and go up the hill. Follow that to the high parkinglot, make a left down the trail and then a right. Follow that back to the lower lot.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Boyne River Conservation Area (bikes alowed, good hills)
