, from Toronto Summary: Very very very very very very sick trail, my best time is on this trail, fast pased trail with many forks so its good for all types of riders from beginners to experts. Very fun after rainfall due to muddy conditions, if you like that kind of a ride, but it makes the climbs a bi*ch. Recommended Route: Turn left in the beginning and hit every right untill you start to see signs that say "red death" go down that, its a big, steep oneway hill, very fun, very fast ! Other recommended trails in the same area: 3-Stages

, from Mississauga Summary: This is one of the best places to ride I have found within a couple of hours of Toronto. It is just as big if not bigger than Harwood, but much rockier and full of roots. The map suggests that there are 60 km of trails. If you do not take many breaks and bring 3 liters of fluid, you can ride the whole thing in one go, It took us about 3 1/2 hours. Be sure to note the numbers on the trails and map. these will help you navigate the trails, so you don't end up doing circles. The map is a must and even with it, you can get lost if you do not pay attention. Be sure not to end up on the Bruce trail if you are travelling the Northwest section, or you will end up with a longer ride than you expected. There are many kilometers of good rocky, rooty sections mostly toward the centre and north. The southern section is flatter and less rocky. There are sections which go through tall grass which hide dangerous rocks and holes. The terrain leads to hitting your pedals on hidden rocks more than once. There are trails for all levels, but if you want to ride all sections, make sure your bike is in good condition, or it will be shaken apart. Well worth the drive from the Toronto area if you are willing to ride for a couple of hours or more. You should be pretty fit and be comfortable with rocks if you want full enjoyment of this place. I would recommend Hardwood otherwise. Recommended Route: The Northwest passage towards the north parking lot and the centre of the trails (summit) offer the most challenging climbs and descents. The southern part of the trail system is flatter and goes through some swampy areas (they are very dry now) and open fields. Be sure to get a map at the Ravenna general store.

, from stratford, ont (Meaford, ont also) Summary: great if you like technical singletrack. lots of rocks and roots, all wet and slimy, and the occasional fallen tree to jump over. This trail will beat your wheels, so bring spoke wrench, tube, patches, pump, etc. One of the most interesting trails i have ridden.
