Excellent trail. There is everything a rider would want at Hiawatha Highlands. There is a trail for every type of rider. Outer doubletrack loops for the less experienced and a great single track with decent climbs, great switchbacks, lots of roots and tons of trails that run throughout. Well marked trails recently helps riders find their way. Races held each year - www.superiorsingletrack.com Maps of the different trails listed on the previous website. Summary:
Excellent trail system at Hiawatha Highlands. Trails for every skill level. Fast single track or nice scenic double track. Mainly used as ski trails in the winter the single track winds between the doubletrack. Very nicely marked sigletrack is about 9 kms. There are many off shoots of the main trail. New single track in the "red pines" area of Hiawatha is a nice starter to add distance to the main trail. Very good warm up.

Recommended Route:
Park to the right of the tennis courts in the parking lot beside the bible camp (old Hiawatha lodge) and you can't miss the signage for the trail.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Boyne Mountain, Big - M
