Mostly singletrack. There is a large network of gravel walking paths from which little segments of singletrack stem out. As of right now the longest stretch is about 600 m. Although there is not much right now. There is alot of potential to build here. Put in a a few riding hours, do some exploring and in a matter of months there will be a nice flowing set of singletrack.

Summary:
a great place to walk with the family, ride leisurely and look at your surroundings. NOT a great place to bike. alright, it's okay, but not for anyone that's looking for anything technical.

if you ride all of the trails (cross town, heritage, glen abbey, etc.), it's over 10k, but you have to cross a lot of roads.

Recommended Route:
stay in the ravine or check out the trails that run along north of the QEW

Summary:
How did this place get the rating it did? Im going to knock it back a few lumps with this review.

First of all the very best this place has to offer is its gravel paths and thats pretty sad considering this is a mountain biking website.

The paths are never maintained, many of the best sections have beer bottles smashed around it or nothing has been done to make the trails interesting.

No singletrack interconnects with any other singletrack, so in other words you ride down a hill the path ends and you have to hike up the hill, or ride back up the same way that you came from.

Total riding singletrack time - 10-15min for a place that is very very big thats pretty sad.

Summary:
There is NOT 10 km of trails. maybe 10 ks of gravel double track aka walking paths.

Dont bring your full sus rig.not even your hardtail.. you wont need it. throw on some hutchinson pythons on a rigid single speed

The only fun part is ome of the hills, ride up... go down, ride up again... great work out.

As the original poster said there are some small stretches of single track.. with some nice room for potential development.

Recommended Route:
from lions valley find

Other recommended trails in the same area:
kelso

Summary:
Actually, this series of trails is about 10 KM long, however, you can cut the loop to about 8 KM by taking the various trails. Many nice hills, but mostly flattrack, gravel and mixed paved sections.
