Summary:
There are actually two sides to Greenwood. The South is where most people ride which has a good 7-8km loop of singletrack and doubletrack . The trick is knowing how to put it together. There's also a good section of man-made stunts and drops if you look carefully. However, the gem of the area is Greenwood North, north of the fifth concession. Park at the parking lot by the bridge. Explore this area and you'l find over 10km more of mostly winding, hilly singltrack with creek crossings, bridges (one 40ft'er), nice downhills and tons of challenge. Both areas have a good mix of riding for beginners and experienced riders once you know where to go. The two areas together give you about 1.5 to 2 hours of riding if you find all the singletrack.

Recommended Route:
In the south follow trails around the perimeter for the longest ride and work your way in. The best singletrack is on the West side along Church st. In the North start at the bridge on concession five and head up (north) the trail along the creek - it's the most easterly trail. Once you're at the top of that trail explore towards the West while heading back south.

Durham Forest/Walker Woods/Glen Major, Long Sault, Ganaraska E2

Don't ride these trails, it's illegal to do so THE DMBA is working hard to get Greenwood opened to riding again . but riding illegally isn't going to get us use of the trails again!!!

Summary:
This is a good trail for MTB beginners. Not too tough, but enough logs, roots, twists, downhills and uphills to be challenging and fun for the less experienced riders.

Summary:
This is an awsome trail. There is a lot of getting to know this area before you know where the best areas are, but when you find them, they are great.

Recommended Route:
Go down the Duffins Trail, take your first right. Keep riding until you see the bridge and cross it, take a left from there. Once on that trail, take your first left, then a right. Once you climb the "stairs" keep going straight and turn right. Explore from there!

Summary:
Its a good single and double track. Great ride, not too technical but has some challenging downhills. The uphills can give you a nice workout. Watch out for dogs though, it might be nice if have a bell. Also some bridges needs some repairs. The place also has a beautiful scenary and some animals along the way. Overall its a nice trail to go to for beginners and seasonal bikers.

Recommended Route:
Not much of a route here cuz its just a loop. Just go inside the forest and enjoy the ride
