Trail Directions
From Whitby head north on Hwy #12. Go west on Hwy #47. Main Street north is the first stop light in town. The trail starts on the east side of Main Street and the tracks are still in place west of Main. Parking is limited there, so you may want to park near the train station at Brock St. West and Railway St. and ride over to the trail.

I rode the Blackwater to Uxbridge portion last summer. I think it was around 18 miles round trip. Not too difficult except where the railbed has been graded w/ crushed stone. A bit hard for pedalling. Mostly 2 track.

Lots of swamp alongside for wildlife viewing.

Recommended Route:
I parked my truck in Blackwater on Hwy. 12.
