Weekend Warrior Summary: Excellent trail system at Hiawatha Highlands. Trails for every skill level. Fast single track or nice scenic double track. Mainly used as ski trails in the winter the single track winds between the doubletrack. Very nicely marked sigletrack is about 9 kms. There are many off shoots of the main trail. New single track in the "red pines" area of Hiawatha is a nice starter to add distance to the main trail. Very good warm up. Recommended Route: Park to the right of the tennis courts in the parking lot beside the bible camp (old Hiawatha lodge) and you can't miss the signage for the trail. Other recommended trails in the same area: Boyne Mountain, Big - M
