Summary:
A great trail. There is lots of tight, twisty, and technical single track in amoungst the xc ski trails (double track). The twisty, technical nature of the single track keeps speeds fairly slow on the trail but there is the odd wide open section where you can really fly. There is 10 to 15 km of single track, plus lots of double track on the ski trails.

Recommended Route:
As you enter the ski trails look to the left for the sign for the single track. Then follow the orange dots along the trail and the signs.

Summary:
I rode this area once a few years ago - it was pretty good, except for some muddy sections, and a couple of ponds that were about knee deep. However, that was pretty early in the spring, and things were pretty wet still.

Overall, there were lots of options from doubletrack to singletrack, to no track, just the leaves, roots and rocks on the path that had been cut out for x-country skiing. The parking lot has a map with distances and routes marked on it. Overall, a good variety of relatively technical riding. I'll be checking it out again this summer and post another more up-to-date review.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Petawawa Fish hatchery, ATV trails at the end of Black Bay road
