Ridden Trail: Once a week

Downhiller Summary: A mix of different types of trails. Very hard at certain parts, had to jump off the bike and walk some sections. Steep downhills, switchbacks (only ones I've seen so far in Ontario), roots, rocks and flowy single track. Trails on the west side of the river (which I've used more) start somewhere in Sunnybrook park and go down to the classic Don Valley Trail. You can easily get lost, but if you have a whole day to burn, go explore the whole Don River area and you'll easily spend the whole day riding. Recommended Route: I usually go on this trail only after going on the "classic" Don Valley Trail. It's very techincal, so only if I'm in the mood. Start from going over the bridge from the north end loop parking lot of the DV trail and immediately go right onto a path. Go north. Go nuts. Just don't forget protection. And a buddy. A cell would also be good too. Other recommended trails in the same area: Just ride anything and everything.
