Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

Weekend Warrior Summary: Interesting trail. On the right side of the creek, it's a paved path that runs from Burnanthorpe and Kipling all the way to Eglington and the East Mallish area. On the west side, there is a single track trail, but due to overgrowth and other factors, it does not connect the whole way along the creek. You have to kinda go back and forth across the creek to get a good ride going. Also, there is a dirt jump area now, made by kids who live in the area. The jumps were too muddy when I rode by, but they look like they've been made pretty well and not over used. Not bad if you're into a casual ride, nothing too fancy or technical. Just a good place to ride in the trees and get away from the roads. Recommended Route: From the south, start at north of Burnanthorpe and Kipling, at the park and paved trail enterence. Just follow north along the path, a sinlge track goes along the paved. When you get to a bridge, go over onto the west side and ride north. From Eglington and East Mall, go south a bit on East Mall and you'll find a gap in the steel road barrier. Ride down into the woods (the single track is very overgrown until you get into the trees) and follow south along the creek. Again, you'll have to cross over some bridges at certain points. Other recommended trails in the same area: Etobicoke trail and the Don.

Ridden Trail: Please Select

, from Toronto Summary: Trail is actually named West Deane Park and is a multi use rec trail for cyclists, runners and rollerbladers (as well as pokey walkers)... It's about 5km long. Combined with the power line trail to the east (starting from the north end up at Eglinton and Martin Grove) should make for a fun ride for those looking to get some 'off road' mtb in.
