Summary:
Out again last night, and found some more new stuff. There definitely seems to be some organized trail development happening out there. I finally found the MAJOR berms in the natural halfpipe section towards the Highland Rd trailhead. Now I'll need to go back during daylight hours. Overall, this whole area is getting better and better.

Recommended Route:
I live nearby so I head in from old Glasgow along the fenceline.

Summary:
Not too bad, but I couldn't find the technical stuff, I guess it got riped down. Haven't been out this year yet my bike got stolen need a new one (looking at norco) could use a map, always pressed for time and need to find best trails. anything could help thanks.
ps. anyone seen my bike? ccm northridge (yes ccm, but it really wasn't that bad) it's a dark puple with orange ssupention and blue tires.

If you enter from the Highland Road route (past Trussler Rd, right at yellow barn/gravel pit entrance) there is a sign stating that at least that section of the forest is an "Agreement Forest", therefore crown land. The bike traffic has diminished since the obstacle tear-down, but some new single-track trails are being developed. Look for signs for "Frankenstein"; great tight switchbacks and tight technical short downhill sections. great tree cover for this brutally humid summer we've been having. this trail system was definitely worth a 5 for this area, however has dropped to a 3 since the teardown. still an awesome workout!

Summary:
Does anyone know who owns the land on either side of the hydrolines? That is, are we allowed to be there? Is there some way to ensure that these trails will not succumb to urban sprawl, dump expansion, fallen trees, etc.? It seems that by taking for granted that we mountain bikers can use this trail we may be making ourselves unwelcome; we may be threatening our own existence. Any comments would be helpful....
