Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

Weekend Warrior Summary: These trails are composed mainly of rocky limestone at the west side of the top of the trails, and as you progress south deeper into the valley, you find smoother clay and dirt surfaces. The rocky stuff can be intimidating for beginner riders because it seems and all there is on the trails. Recommended Route: I suggest newer riders start on the east side of the trails on Dennis St. and ride down the fire road into the valley. There's a much more progressive learning curve at that point. AM enthusiasts and advanced riders are recommended to start at the Rona parking lot as the trails are connected directly to the back lot of Rona.

Weekend Warrior Summary: I'm from waterdown, and this a great place to ride. On the oposite side of the train tracks of the bike park, their is a nice course with a huge berm. There's a tiny ladder jump halfway down that says made by Sony. I made that.

Cross Country Rider Favorite Trail: Waterdown Trails Summary: These are some great trails! They are very close to my house and feature challenging routes with lots of hills and jumps. Endless variety. Strengths: They are LONG trails. You can always find a new route. Definately the bike park people have built in the middle of the forest. It has tons of huge impossible jumps, gap jumps, and wooden trails built over logs. Weaknesses: Can get very muddy. Can get confusing to get out if you go on unmarked trails. Other recommended trails in the same area: Dundas Trails

Weekend Warrior
, from Burlington Summary: A Blast - the 1st time I rode here I thought I would get lost and never get out - so many trails to follow - great variety to chose from - climbs are challenging - for those skilled enough, logs, and home made bridges
I came prepared for my second trip - bought a map - recommend you do too :-)
so far I have come across 3 trails which are colour marked - Yellow, Green, are found north of the tracks and Red is south of the tracks - Yellow requires some skill, step hills and logs, Green offers the same with fewer obstacles - I have not attached Red yet but will post as my adventures continue.
Ran into a few guys (1st timers from Milton way) who were lost, tired and impressed, "a hell of a workout - hope we find our way out before dark :-)" Other recommended trails in the same area: Short Hill - St.Catherines -
