Weekend Warrior Summary: OK, never ridden this trail. Would like to, but... (see trail policy on the Woodstock Cycling Club web site)>> http://www.woodstockcyclingclub.ca/trail.html
By the way, the map here at MTBR is wrong, follow the one at the WCC site.

Cross Country Rider Summary: This trail has lots of turns and twists to it. You sure improve your bike handeling skills by riding this trail. The red trail is the easier one but for more of a challenge, go on the black technical trails. A few stunts are found on the black trails also. All in all a good ride. Took me about 45 minutes to do the red trail and some of the black ones. Cost is $3.00 and you will have to have OCA insurrance to ride there soon.
Doug

Weekend Warrior Summary: The Pines is up and running. Initially trail was cut to get us riding. Now through creative thinking and hard work the trail is evolving. We now have 15km of cut trail. A red trail(easy)can be ridden by begginers or hammered on by the time trial set. A black trail(hard)is made up of tight twisty single track, naturally occuring obstacles, climbs, burms, some jumps and if you look for them small drops. Two short decents will have you grinning at the bottom. Open year round with a new state of the art gravel parking lot(follow the signs). Sure I like it, I helped build it. Recommended Route: HWY 401 to exit #232 Norwich Ave. East on Parkinson Rd. North on Oxford Rd.(aka Innerkip Rd.). East on Twp. Rd. #4. 2km turn left (north) down driveway to parking lot. Other recommended trails in the same area: Not much, that's why we have to make this work.

Cross Country Rider Summary: THIS TRIAL IS CLOSED!!!! DUE TO LOGGING AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE NEW TOYOTA PLANT AND THE NEED FOR A RAIL LINE TO BE PUT INTO THE NEW TOYOTA PLANT! Trails were closed in the fall of 2005, for the logging and,as I put this review in the survey stakes have been put in place for the train tracks to go into the new auto plant. The logging has left a huge mess in the trails and, has destroyed a lot of the trails.NOT LOOKING GOOD for the Pines for 2006 and beyond.I will try to keep this site informed of the process,if we do go forward with opening up the trails again we will need lots of help to clean the place up!(Jan02,2006) Recommended Route: Don't Go! Other recommended trails in the same area: Brantford,Grand River trail from Paris to Brantford

Cross Country Rider Summary: About 10-15kms of well thoughtout, marked trails. Follow the arrows (perfect if you're, ummm, hungover) as it starts you off through tight and twisty pines becoming more aggressive with hill climbs and descents but still mostly with the switchbacks. Trail gives a decent work-out with great technical for moderate to experienced XC (my Trek Fuel loves this stuff!). The hills in the last half were too hard for the first year beginner I dragged out but she still had a blast. Worth the $3 bucks (the club claims to lease the land) and drive from London. Recommended Route: Take Cnty Rd 2 West off of Hwy 401. Right (north) onto Cnty Rd 4 then another right (east, just before the brige) onto Twnshp Rd 4. Entrance is just up the gravel road ... look for the big green sign. Parking. Other recommended trails in the same area: Pittock for a warm-up or a cool-down or just to see the lake.
