Summary:
I don't know why anybody could dislike this little trail sytem If you ever actually got around to riding it, then you obviously enjoy 'exploring' on youir bike. And there is nothing avout this trail that doesn't say "ADVENTURE" with a capital 'A'. You've got jumps; twisty, barely rideable corners over slimy exposed roots; challenging climbs(technically challenging if not in height);dozens of half fallen trees to dodge and duck; you run the constant risk of being slightly lost - but it could never take longer than 2 minutes to find your way out; and, best of all, you might get a glimpse of the old Hobo! Its like being eleven years old again and again.

Cities all over the world are starting these little "revolutionary" local mountian bike "fun parks" full of little trails just like these.

Recommended Route:
Dive in to the woods right after the meadow is ending. Ride around the same little routes in both directions a few times; don't go too near the homeless guy, unless you feel brave! Be sure to hit "the climb" and, subsequently, "the descent." ...If only it were 500 times higher... *sigh* I guess I'm just a fan of these little urban rides. I used to ride in a little set of trails by an urban lake back home. It was right next to this big scary abandoned mental hospital. Sometimes I'd ride it at night and be sure that I'd be killed. I had another set of little rides I used to do - I could almost cross the entire city more almost entirely on rough back lanes, schoolyard footpaths, and other interresting mountain bike trails. Well... they were interresting to me anyway.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Governor General's mansion trail system; OPH -to-Canada Games Complex ride in Thunder Bay.

Reviewed by: Someone who doesn't live in the woods , from Not the woods

Summary:
There ain't no hobos living in them there woods, but you still shouldn't go in there. Not much to see here, I mean there. And don't let your dogs run there, cause the stuff squishes between ones toes if one forgets to put their slippers on before heading out for a walk. If you see me in or around the woods, I certainly don't live here, I mean there, I just like to hang out there quite a bit.

Recommended Route:
I wouldn't go in these woods, lots of broken glass and stuff (but I don't break it). There is always trees over the paths (but I don't put them there). Just stay away from these woods, OK? They aren't much fun, and whoever took my lawnchair and towel, I need them back.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Any trail but the ones through the woods. There are tons of others you know!

Summary:
This is a old Dump. The big hill by the Bus station is all garbage from way back in the day. Fun little trails if you have a hour to kill and you don't want to ride to the Gat/Kan. The trails to get borring after a while but it is better than the paved paths. Do watch out for the HOBO's that live there. They are harmless but they do scare me a little. Check it out if you have time to kill, but don't make a epic outta it.

This "trail" is being REVIEWED?!?!? I admit, I was curious one afternoon while riding on the pavement, but that was it. In and over with in 20 minutes. Not worth anything more than that.

Summary:
This trail's good 'cept for the homeless person's house with pants hanging out to dry, lol. Ya the forest really creeps up on you and you might leave the trail with bites, scratches, and hobos chasing after you, but it's worth it!

Recommended Route:
Same as above
