Summary:
This trail is more CHALLENGING than HardassHills, which is a total "RIPOFF". There are some narly decents which which I have crashed on and really screwed my front and rear rims. P.S. my rims are very sh#*y. The uphills are very unforgiving, due to leaves and the sand and the sand, "Oh by the way, didI mention the SAND!" Don't forget to drop in at Kaon Funiture in Stayner, www.kaonfurniture.com They have bedroom suits and other furniture.

Summary:
Pretty good set of trails, and well maintained. I've usually started taking the red trail, and then switch back & forth to the others (black and blue trails are good too). There are some steep and challenging downhill sections, as well as some good climbs. Fairly technical sections, depending on which trail you choose. Some great views from atop the escarpment after a very long and gruelling ride (haven't made it up to the top yet) if you can make it. There is also a small trials area set up with logs, see-saw, and planks to hone your bike handling skills - pretty fun actually. Overall these trails are great (I go there about once a month), and I recommend them to everyone, no matter what your skill level - trails for everyone. I give it 4 piles of poo (I would give a 5 only to Hardwood so far). Great trails!

Recommended Route:
All routes are good (except for the fire road - yellow I think)

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Hardwood Hills, Porcupine Ridge, Waterdown, Kelso
