Summary:
I wrote a review a few years ago, but it has disapeared. Just as well... the trail is in bad condition. Sections along the river are unridable - the trail seems to be sliding into the river. Roots are getting bigger and bigger and when it's damp, it's too dangerous to ride the riverside trail. This used to be one of my favorite rides, but as it is now, it just isn't fun. I will try it again this fall and update my review if needed.

Recommended Route:
Route to Morris Tract.

Summary:
An excellent trail with something for everyone. Parts running along the river are much more fun but more advanced, best spot is Falls Reserve, and the Morris Tract, basiclly Benmiller to Saltford section. Rail trail is tame and is slightly quicker heading from Auburn to Goderich. Some hiking sections east of Benmiller.

Recommended Route:
I would tackle the riverside trails first and then take the rail trail back for the slight downhill rail grade. bring water as well, limited refilling areas, and you will definitely need it.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
The Millenium trail on town side of river. runs from HWY 21 bridge directly along the river out behind Wal-mart, can continue past and get to Falls Coservation area eventually
