Cross Country Rider Summary: I only rode this once, but I think I got an ok feel for it already. It's really light riding, the only difficult thing about it would be the roots and rocks that like to bounce you around like a basketball. It's a really good trail to bring people to if they're just starting out (unless you're like me and just take them straight to Cains). Just watch out, there are designated biking and hiking areas, but they're not too clearly marked and it's easy to get on a hiking trail accidently. Also people like to bring horses through parts of it, so it's a good idea to not touch your bike until you wash it down. :P Other recommended trails in the same area: Cains, Bolar, Meadowlilly

Weekend Warrior Summary: Komoka Provincial Park is actually an environmentally sensitive area. Trails that are off limits to cyclists are clearly marked. Please obey the signs and have fun on the other trails!

, from toronto Summary: I actually think this is an illegal trail...it is recommended that this park not welcome mountain bikes. the london ski club is 5 mins away and provides enough challenging trail. KPP could very well look like the ski club someday if bikers do not respect the no mountain biking signs. drop by for a walk or run , but with the nature of the meadows and steep cliffs, erosion due to mtn bikes could easily occur. Recommended Route: Through the parking lot. Lock the bike up and walk according to the map posted. Other recommended trails in the same area: London ski club, springbank, banks of the thames in delaware

Ridden Trail: Once a week

, from London Summary: This trail is located in a Park designated for muliple use. On any given day a rider will encounter hikers, dogs, horses, joggers, x-country skiers (winter) and other riders coming head on...beware. Komoka offers a wide variety of terrain that is generally safe and fun. There are a lot of progressive hills to climb, offcambre sandy sections, downed logs and on the far west side there is one nasty downhill. I've had several tumbles down this one and the hill is not recommended for the novice rider. The one major downfall of Komoka is that the actual trail is only 10k and is not really a good workout unless you loop it several times. If you ride in the summer leave early in the morning because you will run into some nasty hikers from time to time. MTB's aren't really supposed to be on some parts of the trail.
Recommended Route: Trail is located about 2.5-3k just west of London (byron), if you've crossed the Thames river you've gone to far. Best way is to come in off of Commissioners Road at the old Ranger station (white house) on the south side of the road. It is from this location that you will find one of three major trail heads. The trail generally follows the Thames River, but has several loops that are easy to navigate and always return to the main trail. Other recommended trails in the same area: Komoka is a good trail to

, from London Summary: This trail rules. If you know where to ride you can find whatever you want. Steep uphills to tight technical downhills. There are a few drop offs and natural jumps where you can get some huge air. You have to watch out for ruts and erosion though 'cause the second you're not watching on a downhill they sneak up on you. Recommended Route: Trail head is off comissioners rd. behind white house just past Byron befor Kilworth
