, from KW area Summary: I've only ridden the Sudden Track and the Dryden Track area of the trail and is alright, its cool down here 'cause there is nobody but me and the bugs. You should try it! Go to the sudden track and follow the white markes! Recommended Route: get one of those maps....Rivers N Trails sells them I think. Other recommended trails in the same area: Dryden and sudden track.

, from Kitchener Ontario Canada Summary: It is sometimes confused with the Chicopee trail, because it connects and do yourself a favor do both at once its more fun that way.Nice trail that runs along the river, hence the name.Nice forset with 100 year old trees and some nice singletrac.Theres some nasty erosion and off cambers you will know what I am talking when you get to this section, if unsure walk it, otherwise you will fall several feet and get seriously hurt.Other than that not to difficult a trail and a great place to show a begginer what mountainbiking can be all about. Recommended Route: Ask a local bikeshop everyone knows this trail. Other recommended trails in the same area: Chicopee, Guelph lake, waterloo-kitchener Hydrocut,Eden mills, Guelph Scout camp.

, from Cambridge, ON, Canada Summary: Lots of fun but don't fall into the river. Recommended Route: I always start at the Chicopee end of the trail 'cause I'm from Cambridge. Most people use this as an out-and-back trail but you can continue to follow it north across HWY 7 ( Victoria st) and take it all the way to Bridge St. Just follow the white blazes on the trees. When you hit 7 turn right and once you cross the Grand River turn off to the left into the parking lot and you'll pick up the trail again. You can also go left on 7 and head over to Bingeman Park. There are lots of trails in the back of the park with some nasty downhills. Watch for the root waterfall. It has claimed many a collarbone. This trail is just one part of the Grand Valley trail which runs from lake Erie to Alton just south of Orangeville. Last summer I went on a bike camping trip which started in Cambridge where I took the Speed River Trail to Guelph, The Guelph Radial Trail to Limehouse Where I hooked up with the Bruce Trail. I went north on the Bruce to Forks of the Credit Provincial park where I connected with the Alton Trail which in turn took me to the Grand Valley Trail and that took me to Chicopee which is just down the road from my house. Some of the riding sucked (hike a bike) but it was a cool adventure.
