Ridden Trail: Every few months

, from Toronto Summary: This trail was cut by members of Oshawa Competition Motorcycle Club (OCMC). It is intended to be used by all forest users motorcycle, mountain bikers, equestrians etc. I motorcycle and mountain bike in the Ganaraska Forest. The trail is best riden west from the parking area. Riding west out of the parking area takes you a cool downhill with several corners on the way down. This loop is approx. 16 km. There is a small loop on the north side, just east of the entrance into the E2 parking area (approx. 6 km) The Ganaraska Forest is the location of the "Great Pine Enduro" a motorcycle event that is best described as an of road motorcyle rally. We ride 150 km without leaving the forest. I would like to see mountain bikers and off-road motorcyclists get together to build and maintain trails through all areas. There are hundreds of kilometres of trail in Ontario that are used by motorcycles, and would be ideal for mountain bikes. Strength in numbers of trail users. Other recommended trails in the same area: E2 is my favorite mountain bike trail. There are several areas to ride in the Ganny. My second choice would be the north edge of the forest. South of Hwy. 115. The west side of the forest is a little too sandy for long rides.

, from Townsville. Qld. Australia Summary: The E2 section of the Ganarska Forest is a middle and big ring blast. A real hoot! The trails are fast rolling single track with plenty of ups and downs and plenty of tight corners that can catch you out if you are not concentrating. The soil is very sandy in sections and if there has been a few weeks of dry weather, can make some of the short climbs hard work so its best a few days after rain. The trails are suitable for all levels of riders the limiting factor only being the speed at which you take it. Recommended Route: From the E2 carpark off the 10th line follow the Honda arrows. There is an inner and an outer loop. Keep an eye out for motorbikes and other mountain bikers coming in the opposite direction.
Other recommended trails in the same area: All areas of the Ganaraska Forest.

, from Toronto Summary: Like the other people who've reviewed this trail I would describe as being like a rollercoaster. This trail has a lot of tight turns and small hilly sections with very few flat sections. This can be a lot of fun if you are riding with a few friends and you're trying to go as fast as you can but be careful it's hard to go fast on half of the trail because it's so tight and windy and you will probably wipe out if you're not careful.

, from Shilo, Manitoba Summary: This is probably my favourite trail. I usually compare it to riding a roller coaster, but more fun. It constantly twists and turn with very few flat sections. Usually hardpacked with some loose sand and lots of whoops that were made by the motocross bikes. This is a motorcycle trail that was made by a motocross club, so be nice to them as they did a great job. I rode this twice in one day with Dan and Terry and were we baked. We HAD to stop in Port Hope to eat, I was too hungry to drive(the clifs weren't enough). The last time I rode it before I moved to Manitoba there was five of us and everybody crashed at least once(Dan broke his rear derailleaur). Do yourself a favour and get out on it. Recommended Route: It's fun either way around Other recommended trails in the same area: The main trails in Ganaraska are pretty good, but the trails at the Northumberland XC ski trails North of Couburg are a hoot.
