Weekend Warrior Summary: A big place to get lost in. Love it. You should be able to find your way around on your own by the end of the second visit. There are double track trails that run in the middle which makes it easier to find your way back. I'd say this place is built for endurance and speed. Lots of twisties, long ups and downs. Nothing really rocky comes to mind but they are more roots and lots of sand. It seems as if they keep adding new trails each season so it's great to see a good thing get even better. Recommended Route: The place is so big that any route does its job. Other recommended trails in the same area: You always have the option to go down the street to Glen Major (I think it's called Glen Major.) Driving south on Con 7/Uxbridge rd. the parking lot will be on the right, near a comm. tower. There's a crazy fun and 'long' downhill ride there.

Cross Country Rider Summary: Busy trail and if you are in the West end it is far. If you make the trip you better like sand. In fact that would be the only reason to go. It was strange to be riding fast on a downhill stretch only to have to negotiate 30 feet of deep sand (scary.. teaches you to lay off the brakes).
No rocky sections or bridges that I could see. There are a few good climbs (although not like the start of Kelso).
We had fun and the sand was a new experience. Would not be be my regular.

, from Ajax Summary: This trail is nice. it is really big so you will get lost for sure. I recommened bringing a friend because i have been riding this trail for 2 years and i still get lost most of the time. have a very nice uphill and some fairly tough downhills. some parts are filled with gravell so better be careful. also always be aware of kids biking in the easy parts of the trail, some parents take their kids there, specially on weekends (just for you to know). Overall this trail is a nice trail to go to if you want to exercise and build up your stamina because it could give you a nice 30 km run (or even more) Recommended Route: I honestly have no idea. just go around get lost you'll eventually find a double track that may lead you to the parking lot, or signs that may lead you there. Other recommended trails in the same area: Just in the neighborhood dagmar and glen major.

, from Scarborough Summary: Great place to go. I have been there twice this week. The main loops (d-track) are fun just for a workout. The single track is good also, but I prefer the single track at Dagmar. The only problem with this place is that it is very easy to get lost. If u stay on the d-track there is no rpoblem for getting lost, however, once u venture onto the single track, u can get disoriented pretty easy. But, with a little common sense u can find should be able to find your way back to your car :-) Recommended Route: 401 to Brock Rd. Go North of Brock Rd. until u see a sign saying Coppins Corner, where u will see Hwy 21. Go east on 21 for about 5 km. and u will see signs directing u into the parking area. Other recommended trails in the same area: Dagmar

, from toronto Summary: great combination of double track(for warm up, aerobic training)and single track. some single track more technical than others. explore, get lost( and you will get lost),find your way at the top where a communication tower serves as a landmark. for those who want to ride all day, cross the road at the communications tower, where you'll find walker forest and glen major trails. some of the best riding is found in this area. fat tire haven with all due rspect to Ben from scarboro, I differ with your opinion, and wonder if you were even in durham forest. Recommended Route: from highway 401, go north on Brock Road... east on regional road 21... south on regional road 7...trail head & parking on left Other recommended trails in the same area: dagmar ski resort...south east of durham forest...on lakeridge road.
