Weekend Warrior Summary: Lots of manicured beginners stuff. Lots of hardass hilly stuff when you know the place. The off shoots is where you really get a good dose of what AM stands for. All up or all down. Roller coaster. If you arent climbing, you're going down. Recommended Route: The Headwaters Loop Via the headwaters and Hilltop trails. The unmapped parts of the Monarch trail non manicured singletrack, the McCormick trail across from the entrance of the park just up Governors road.

Weekend Warrior Summary: What used to be a so-so trail system is now virtually unrideable because of piles of freshly laid gravel. Leave this one for the hikers and equistrians. Recommended Route: Whatever the fastest way out is... Other recommended trails in the same area: Go to Rockcliff in Clappsins Corners. That ride is much more MTB friendly

, from Ancaster Summary: Martins side road is a challenge. The deep ruts have alot of mud in them and the headwaters trail itself is good. When finished, turn right on the road u c. Follow it up the the rail trail and turn right. Follow this until you hit the trail centre. Take the mainloop trail and turn right at the fork. Follow this around and go past the parking lot. Get ready for a short climb. Follow the trail and go up the firepit(aka hermitage hill, cardiac hill, etc.) This hill is not for beginners, a definite must for avide mountain bikers. For those who say this place has no interesting single track, i say do this climb a few times and see how easy it is. Happy trails Recommended Route: Take the headwaters trail to Martin's side road, ride this loop, then when you get back to the road, ride down it. LOTS OF MUD. This place never sees the sun. Other recommended trails in the same area: The trails here are great. If they were too technical noone would use em as often as they r used. If u want more challenging trails then yes this is not the place for you but if you want some fun, easy trails with a few challenging parts then come to the Dundas valley

, from Isle of Man Summary: No hucking, but firepit can be moderately technical if you climb the ridge side of it and drop the other (jump around the 3rd corner...). Some seriously steep sidetrails off of Chute (I had a mtbing biology teacher who nailed a tree there). Also the Bruce trail is illegal for bikes but I hear theres some good technical side trails there if you get lost;) Or just walk your bike until you get to an un-illegal bit. Recommended Route: Firepit, Chute, etc. LOTS of loops. Other recommended trails in the same area: Waterdown

, from Conestoga Lake Summary: If you don't mind dogs, kids and horses running out in front of you then you should maby check it out. If you are looking for a hard core ride loaded with hucking and huge jumps and North Shore style riding then your wasting your time. It was fun but its not a trail I'd go back to. Bottom line? Ride everything else you can and when your bored and tired of all of the other trails then check it out. Recommended Route: check out the other dude's Other recommended trails in the same area: Come up to Waterloo, Kitchener and Cambridge. We've got tons of trails from North Shore stuff to Rail Trails.
