Hilly, rocky singletrack and doubletrack through largely deciduous forest, mostly natural trails, but some engineering has taken place. Mixture of technical and easy trails.

Summary:
Great trail with fast flowing sections as well as some tight twisty parts. Many short steep climbs with some roots and rocks and equally fast, fun downhills. Absolutely great workout, rarely do you see other people out there and its a lot of fun for 1.5-2 hours. All the loops are not particularly well marked so you can end up doing the same loop several times in a row, but that's alright since its a lot of fun. Best part for me is its only a 10 minute bike ride from my house in Galt. NOTE: Wear bug spray with deet or you will be eaten alive!

Summary:
My friends and I have been out riding a couple times but to places like Chicopee and Homer Watson where we have to get a truck ride there, which isnt to easy because we dont drive. This struggle then became a search for a good trail in Cambridge. We then went to Cambridge Cycle website and found out about this great trail. We rode there and we were totally shocked. There are good trails in Cambridge. It is filled with a bit of everyhting from triple to single track and steep downhill. Unfortunatley, my tire popped and i had no tools on me so we had to go home. But You bet we hit that stuff the next day. Great trail and close to home.Good for intermediate to advanced but beginners could handle it. A must see.

Summary:
There is a GRCA trail from Dryden Tract to Sudden Tract (It is very hard to explain). For those of you that have been there, if you find yourself behind a farm house stay on the edge of the field and go out to the road past the small barn. Turn left onto the road and go about 2 football fields you will see a path on the right hand side. This is a GRCA path that goes through another farmers field. When you get to the next road cross it and go right (head down hill) you will see a small trail head on the left side. Sudden tract is nothing like Dryden but if you are looking for a long ride its a good work out. don't bother making a trip to Suden Tract only. Last year the bush at Dryden Tract was littered with Hydo cut stuff. It was great fun but the GRCA removed it all, and rightfully so. As mountain bikers, if we are going to assume the bush is ours we will be shut out of great riding areas like this. Lets not blow it!

Recommended Route:
Counter clockwise loops

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Puslinch lake behind McDonalds on the east boud side of the 401. Lots of new technical trails.

Summary:
Very Similar to the riding conditions in the Kolapore uplands without the 2 hour drive. I am glad that few people ride here. This is the best kept secret in the waterloo region.

Recommended Route:
Counterclockwise loops.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Homer Watson Park, Chicopee, Grand River Trail, hydro cut
