Cross Country Rider
, from Bradford Summary: Didn't know it was so close to home till I read the web site.
The place is pretty big, lots variety-cross country/ up and down hill/ bridges/ boulders/ log pyramids etc. For the intermediate or novice rider it was pretty good as well cheap (free)!!
Downfalls?-- trails weren't that well marked cause trees fell down, but not too many people were there so going the wrong way wasn't and issue.
Highly recommended for the fun runs, but if you get really far in all the way to the ravine it is a KILLER up hill. Recommended Route: Trails not named or marked well. Other recommended trails in the same area: Hardwood-but it costs 12.00/day

, from Barrie Summary: Had to contribute a review. This trail is not spectacular, but is conveniently located between the city and the north...good for 45 minute fun on the way home from work. Switchback on the back hill drives me nuts...always get stuck on the last one ascending! This is a great trail for beginners and fine for intermediate riders who need a quick run.

, from Toronto, Ontario Summary: I like this trail a lot. Sometimes the race loop is a bit short and/or easy but it's usually fun. If the loop doesn't include the back section (and youre not enjoying the loop) leave the loop and explore the ravine but watch out for people going the opposite way than you. Be kind to hikers and joggers. There are hunting blinds in this forest so Id watch out for crazy hunters during hunting season. Dont be an idiot! Ride the marked race loop the way the arrows are pointing!
Recommended Route: the race loop set up is usually good. Other recommended trails in the same area: Kelso

, from Schomberg,ON Summary: These trails are like a mini Hardwood Hills. They are focused more to the cross country end of the spectrum but there are some pretty neat fast sections. The rock piles are fun to shoot over and in the same area there are some manmade obsticles. Really anyone can ride this trail with caution. The trail maintenace is excellent(for no charge) It's worth checking out. It's a fun place to go. Recommended Route: Follow above

, from Cornwall, Ontario Summary: I've ridden this trail many times, and when I'm in the Newmarket area I make a point of going here. The reason? It is a fun smooth ride. Not what I'm used to. At no time will you feel as if your life is in jeopardy on this trail. It would be considedered an easy trail that anyone with a half decent bike can ride. There are no long hills or real technical sections, but there is a fast section where you can get speed. To sum it up, this is a fun place to ride. Recommended Route: Same as above Other recommended trails in the same area: Ravenshoe-another easy trail
