Great area to learn at. Fast down hills, some tech. areas, some flats, some hills. Not much area to cover. but lots of different kinds of trail. Stay off woodchip trails unless to use for getting from trail to trail.

Summary:
A lot of everything here... trees, rocks, woodchips, and some washout. and oh yeah, salamanders. Tried this trail today after a disappointing visit to 99steps. this trail has a lot of everything... technical bits here and there. Hills. and fall-breakers... err people... walking... a popular area for the locals to get away from the dismal suburbia that surrounds this forest. i wish i lived in this area when i was young... which brings me to the next point; KIDS. Watch out for them... they are numerous and plenty, and everywhere. there's a fort to the south end of the woods that holds testament to the age group... (6-12) so DO watch out for them. an all-around average trail... now to think of it, if you have kids, bring them here for a walk. or your dog. it's better for that

Recommended Route:
Get to henderson, pull onto the subdivision's street, park and cross the street to the gravel path

Summary:
Great place to learn and have fun.

Recommended Route:
Enter off Henderson, at North, East most point. Take first right and stay left. once you reach a cross in the path take a right. This will bring you bake the same way you came. but it's a nice ride. If you run into any advanced bikers ask where the playgroung is and for directions to one of the many down hill trails.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Rogers resavoir, oak riges and Lake wilcox
