Ridden Trail: Once a month

, from Woodstock Summary: This trail network is on private property and there is a good network of challenging trails. At the four way junction explained earlier, if you turn right and in a short while go left the trail leads to a good climb and there are other trails off of the main trail. If you uses these trails and they appear to go to residential housing immediatly turn around and go back. Several of the residents are pissed off at the mountain bikers so its advisable to not be seen to avoid trail closures. Recommended Route: The route listed from the bingo hall is perfect. When you leave the farmers field at the trail to the right just keep following trail straight ahead. After second rocky downhill section you will come to a four way intersection. Go straight ahead and in a short while will be a steep little S climb. Keep going up the hill and near the top you will see where the hidden trail goes off to the left side. To avoid going up this long climb again take the third left which will exit at the second left.(with me)? The first left with the logs at the entrance exits at the bootom of the climb. Other recommended trails in the same area: At the North East end of Woodstock is the Pines which is maintained by the Woodstock Cycling Club. Twenty minutes by car to the East of Woodstock is Paris and the trail to ride is the Paris to Brantford Grand River hiking trail.

, from Brantford. Ontario Summary: Well.......... A buddy and I drove to Woodstock and took the uphill on the right of the parking lot, pretty much walked it becuase of the motor bike and water have worn a groove in it, followed the corn feild to the right, took the first right after that, AMAZING!! "ROCKY" downhill, its nice, but watch out for the errostion on the second downhill, the LARGE RUT basically makes it a very quick dismount if you are unbalanced at the time of entry, I am speaking from experience on this and the LARGE bruise in the middle of my back to prove it. My helmet also came in very handy too!!!, wacked the back pretty hard. Enough about me already.... came to the bottom after the falled, made a climb and took the snowmobile trail to the right, after making a downhill, took another right and ended up in someones back yard, so needless to say, we never found anything that the other guys were speaking of on earlier posts, we said screw that and went to another one. Recommended Route: Directions from originator are PERFECT!!!!! Other recommended trails in the same area: If someone could explicid directions from the hub or something to the single tracks, it would be greatly appreciated, if anyone is going to be in Brantford and would like to do some intermediate to advanced stuff, email me with some notice and maybe a couple of us would be glad to go with you.
