AIRPORT ROAD

Airport Road, from Mississauga to Collingwood is a very dangerous route. There are no paved shoulders and the shoulders are narrow and mostly soft gravel. The alternative roads (except the Gore Road) running north and south are all paved and have substantially less auto, truck, motorbike traffic. The truck traffic on Airport Road is vicious. The high volumn of auto traffic on The Gore Road mostly travel well over the speed limit and there are no shoulders. I have biked in the West Coast trail area, thru the Rogers Pass snow sheds, the Golden Triangle, and the alternative roads in Caledon, Wellington and Dufferin. None of them is as dangerous as AIRPORT ROAD. Please pass this note on to whoever might be interested. Thanks
