, from London, Ontario, Canada Summary: Interesting trail with some challenges. Lots of roots and rocks. Beautiful scenery overlooking Georgian Bay. The trail along the waterfront is actually called "The North Shore Rugged Hiking Trail". Kind of short. Recommended Route: Park at Manitou Park and ride the fitness trail for a 1/2 km heading northwest. At the end of the trail you can see the salt docks so just stay to the right. There's all sorts of trails shooting off all over the place. The town of Parry Sound owns the 66ft area from the water for 2.5 km. If you ride inland from there you could be on private property. Other recommended trails in the same area: The Seguin trail and various off shoots.
