There are different parts to this trail-technical, a jumps area, flat and open; it's almost all single track so there is no racing. Ride south under Green Lane to connect to the Tom Taylor Trail in Newmarket.
Head east on Green Lane from Yonge Street until you cross the railroad tracks and the Holland River. Then turn left into the parking lot, get on your bike and ride.
Summary: You can enter this trail at Mt albert road 1 km east of Leslie south side . The trail will run south west until you get to limestone screening pathway . It will go from double to single track along the holland river . Go underneath the bridge at green lane and south into Newmarket . Pretty easy , good for family riding . Watch for Dog walkers.
Recommended Route: Leslie and Mt Albert Road
Other recommended trails in the same area: Ravenshoe - Coulsin hill and 99 steps are all close by .

Summary: 2-5kms of mainly sleepy single track winding around a gut wrenching smelly Reservoir with a few silly ( and I mean silly ) BMX jumps. To wake-up you may play in Main St. busy north bound traffic. Overall Rating( one bent out of shape wheel :)
Recommended Route: I't doesn't really matter!! If you have an Uni-Cycle you've found the right place, go east or west from the Main St. parking lot to a waste of time.
Other recommended trails in the same area: Ravenshoe(PHAT tight single track) I believe this trail is still farely new, will just get better

Summary: I read the last guys review and I just had to comment. For this guy to say that Rogers has some of the gnarliest sections of trail he's ever been on is hiarious. These trails absolutely suck, including the west section (Boy scout camp). There is no challenge at all for any serious mountain biker. The so-called playground for bmx bikes is full of jumps built by kids. They are around 2 feet high with flat landings. The 'massive' jump is basically a big ditch. You ride down a hill and you can catch some air when you come up the opposite side of the ditch. Too bad that the landing area is level with the lip of the jump, making for a very hard, very flat landing.
Recommended Route: But bike back in car, drive East on Davis drive to Woodbine. Follow Woodbine North to Ravenshoe Road. Go East on Ravenshoe to McCowan. Go south on McCowan for about 200 meters. Park in parking lot, take bike out of car and go for a real ride.
Other recommended trails in the same area: There is another section of trail that is near these trails. I haven't been there this year, so I don't know what the conditions are like. If you are at the back of the Boy Scout Camp, you will see a really big steep hill on the other side of the train tracks. Push your bike up the hill (if you ride, you're crazy). When you get to the top, follow the treeline on your left. It goes for about 100 ft then you can make a left around the corner. Follow that for about 30 ft and look for a trail going into the forest on your left side. There are some good stunts in this area. The problem with this is you will spend a lot of time pushing your bike uphill and the bottom can get really wet.

Summary: To reach the west section, travel North on Main St. until you reach an entrance on your left, prior to the bridge. The entrance is marked by two large boulders and a gate that is usually closed to cars. Once you pass the gate, look for a path leading to the right. This will take you to a trail that at first runs directly alongside the Holland River. Now, judging by the reviews given, none of you have visited this section. Though I totally agree with your reviews of the eastern section, it's really meant as a walking path, as opposed to a biking trail. The western section (again WEST of Main St. North) has one of the gnarliest sections of trail I've ever been on -- and yes, I've been on a fare share. It has switchbacks, singletracks, a water-crossing, and jumps galore. Trails travel along dried riverbeds, underbridges, alongside a river, and are mostly hard-packed dirt. The section alongside the river, though, is covered in woodchips, no doubt designed to slow down the riders. One small area to look out for, full of jumps, is actually used as a playground for BMX bikes. Really, the only flaw that this area has is that it is relatively small compared to, say, Ravenshoe, a much larger (and slightly better) trail network to the northeast. Overall, this trail is designed for the intermediate rider, who's out to just have some fun on the trails. For those of you who are more adventurous, there's the massive jump at the BMX area. Remember, next time you want to ride Rogers, GO WEST, and don't forget to EXPLORE.
Recommended Route: There are two sections: east of Main St. N. and west of Main St. N. Take the latter.
Other recommended trails in the same area: Forget 99 Steps. Head to Ravenshoe.
