Lots of hils with run-offs, roots and few rocks. Good vertical hills as well as flat trail riding. If you really want to be challenged there are loose dirt hills that really make you feel the burn. Good for all skills. CAUTION!!! There are off road motorbikes, but they have always been good at respecting the non-motorized bike trails.

Trail Directions
Closest intersection is Bayview and Stouffville road. The trails start about 250 meters North of Stouffville road on Bayview. Best way is to take Hwy 404 to Stoufville road, (Hwy 14), and go west for about 1.5 kms until you hit Bayview and go North on Bayview. You will see a bridge going over the trails. You can park around Lake Wilcox or on the farmers inlets near the trails. You could get towed though. Some street parking is availiable as well.

Summary:
As a beginner/intermediate rider i had lots of fun. lots of hills and most are steep going either up or down... but they're not impossible for everyone. it's easy to get lost if you've never been there before. trails go forever and are unmarked, so you can end up in a cornfield or a sandy moto-x track.

remember, mosquito repelent is a MUST. you'll be sorry if you don't bring it. those bugs will be on you every second. watch out for the big puddles because some can be knee deep.

really great variety of flat and fun trails as well as climbs. only noticed 2 tiny kickers.. wasn't looking for them anyway.

Recommended Route:
driving directions: take bayview just north of elgin mills. best parking is on the neighbourhood streets you'll find on your right. if you've hit stouville road heading north you've passed the entrance to the little neighbourhoods. riding route: easiest to enter anywhere from stouville road

Other recommended trails in the same area:
albion hills is fun too.

Summary:
i just tryed these trails for the first time in 2 years, how ever i used to love the area. there usd to be some pretty crazzy freeride stuff like big brigdes, tidders, big doubles, and downhills. some are hiden! keep your eyes open! when i went out this year i was riding a log about 3 feet off the ground and bailed off and cracked my helmet right throu. keep eyes open for dirtbikes!

Recommended Route:
you can park right on Bayview since it was extended. trailhead is on eastside of Bayview it's hard to see because of consruction.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
ravenshoe is a awsome mix of technical single track and some small freeride stuff; like a double tidder, a bridge with a 3foot drop.

Summary:
Some fast, flowing singletrack with plenty of uphills and downhills. Some almost technical shit, but limited to logs, rocks. Some very difficult ruts from the local dirt bikers, but I can't complain cuz they made some pretty nice bermed turns throughout the trail. Love railin' around those. Overall, nothin too challenging as far as skill goes, but it's a workout nontheless. For more of a thrill, ride it when it's wet. This place could benefit from more advanced NS, more technical downhills
peace

Recommended Route:
Just ride it all. Just let it happen. You'll prollie end up riding some sections more than once, but it's all good. Explore the branched out sectioln through the fields.

Ravenshoe!!!! The pinnacle of sweetness for freeriders like myself
