Ridden Trail: Every few months

, from toronto Summary: As everyone else has said, it isn't worth it to ride in high park since there are so many things that can go wrong. I've ridden in the park a few times and have found a few good trails but I've always found someone walking their dog without a leash and the dog will always...always want to jump on you. The dog owner gets mad, tells the cops, then we of course get banned further from use of the park. Not worth it at all.

, from Toronto Summary: It was great a few years ago before they closed it to Mtn bikes. On a crisp, clear, fall friday you could ride through the brilliant maples and make believe you were alone in the wilderness. I've got to admit that bikes were starting to cause some erosion on the steep hills especially after rains. Alas now the birdwatchers , wimpy doogooders in their fascist dayglo parkwatch vests and crowds of doggy walkers have it all to themselves. . Recommended Route: I don't ride it anymore since they closed it to bikes. Other recommended trails in the same area: I ride around the sewage treatment plant on the Humber trail now. The trails are getting a bit overgrown there but at least the smell keeps the holier than thou types away

, from Toronto Summary: Theres are some decent trails and a wicked Dirt Jump. If you look around you can find some drop offs and some cool DS/DH type runs that last about 30 seconds. Not the best trails youv ever ridden trust me! Watch out for Park People and Cops cause you get a mad fine for riding here, and then they add on the fact that you have no lights and none of that crap. Recommended Route: Its high park you cant miss it every one knows where its at. Other recommended trails in the same area: THE DON RIVER

, from Toronto Summary: Very, very, uncool to ride any of the trails in High Park! For all you newbies out there that think you are too extreme to let a $500 fine worry you -- think of it this way, your actions here further the cause of all hikers to ban mtn bikes from trails. Where else can you be more visable when you are disrepecting the trails and other responsible mtn bikers than when you are riding in High Park? Any of you who ride these trails prove that you are either too immature or stupid to realize that trail access is a big issue in the mtn biking world. All mtn bikers (that includes you, momma's boy with your new huffy) have to be responsible to ensure fair access to the best trails, and, by the way, High Park is not one of the best. Why would you bother risking a $500 fine to ride a trail system that can take less than 30 minutes to cover?? Stupid, stupid, stupid. Recommended Route: None -- these trails should not be ridden. Other recommended trails in the same area: DVP
