Ridden Trail: Once a month

, from Elora Summary: The trail system here is fantastic, but can be quite busy on weekends. If your up for an enduro challenge check out the rail trail that runs all the way to Cambridge. Its 75 km one way. Unless you can do it return, then, please, don't harp about this being a novice ride. There is a lot of single track too. Best cycling in the Hamilton area by far! Recommended Route: Train Station located on the Dundas Conservation area on Hwy 99. Other recommended trails in the same area: Kelso

, from Toronto Summary: Awesome rail trail for a long distance ride. A couple watering holes along the way. Try paved roads along the way for greater variability. There are many hills if you leave the trail for an even more challenging ride. I highly recommend this ride for anyone who wants to get away from it all for up to 8 hours! Recommended Route: Start at the train station located at the Conservation Area on Governor's Road (Hwy 99). Head west toward Brantford, Paris, or even Cambridge -- up to 75 km one way. Other recommended trails in the same area: Try Waterdown or Kelso.

, from Dundas Summary: The rail trail is predominantly for novices, but great for building endurance, too. If one desires more technical riding then check out the trails in the Dundas Conservation area. They kick ass! There is something there for everyone. Recommended Route: Fuel up at the Train Station located at the Dundas conservation area on Highway 99. Follow the trail west. Other recommended trails in the same area: Check out the trails down the road on the other side of the Dundas Conservation Area. Lots of hills.
