Arrowhead - Lake Trail

Trail is in good shape with some rocky, sandy sections, along with some tree roots to contend with. Trail circumnavigates Arrowhead Lake with minimal (almost nil) hill climbing.

Trail Directions
Located inside Arrowhead Provincial Park. Take highway #11 North and get off when you see the Provincial park sign. Pass through gate and descend long hill. Trailhead is off parking lot for beach just across small bridge.

Summary:
Any person no matter the skill set can step up to these trails and just plain enjoy them. With Children the trails are a wonderful beginning for mountain biking. You will be able to take the biginner as long as no training wheels. For families starting out, this was one beautiful trail. The kids could not get enough. There is a beautiful falls, safe for a walk out. Trails are for the most part flat with roots above ground. There were a few challenges depending on which one we selected (3 in all). A few times we ended on the beach which is great for a swim.
We are all looking forwards to our next visit for the cycling.

Recommended Route:
Traveling north up 400 to Huntsville. North approx 5kl on right. In the Arrowhead Provincial park.
