Weekend Warrior Summary: 3-Stage offers a lot of technical riding that will fill your day and leave you pretty worn out! Some of the rocky sections are fantastic and offer a nice slow technical ride for a full-body workout! I would definetly recommend picking up a map as it will really help you figure out the mess of trails that are there.
Beginners would have issues here, more for intermediate and advanced riders. Recommended Route: Take the Diamond and Double Diamond routes when possible :) Other recommended trails in the same area: Kolapore Uplands (only about 10 minutes away)

, from Ontario Summary: It's a blast. For mapping needs see the local bike shops... Recommended Route: Any route.. Just remember water! Start at the parking area up top near the 3rd line, follow the service trail road down. Carry on past the yellow gates and take a sharpe left into the forest. Follow the trail down to "pantie hill" and climb up and out. Stay to your right (east) and keep climbing. You should finish out at the road across from the Bruce trail access. Ride back on the road or turn around, stay up top and ride back out to the parking area near the 3rd line. Other recommended trails in the same area: kolapore

, from Duntroon, Ont Summary: Great new trails that allow you to mix and match depending on how much time you have. Still may favourite place which I ride at least twice per week. The local bike shops are Kamikaze and Squire John's. Both have excellent guys working the wrench's. Most trails are for intermediate to experienced riders. The area is not well marked which adds to it's appeal. Recommended Route: From Duntroon, head North towards Nottawa. Turn west on West Church side road and Park on the S bend or the snowmobile parking lot. Take a nice warm up on the river trail and back, then head up the bruce trail for a good long climb (lots of short steep climbs). Keep heading up the singletrack till you get near the parking lot at the top. From here you can explore all of the new trails for a while. Try the technical trail southwest of the gate. After playing around up top it's time for a fly down the singletrack back to the parking lot and a cold Corona. Other recommended trails in the same area: For an Epic Ride, start at the top of Duntroon and go to the top of 3 Stage and back again. The trail right off of Duntroon sideroad is closed to bikers so go 1 sideroad over to the North, this area is crown land.

, from Terra Cotta, Ontario Summary: Since I worked up in Collingwood for the summer, I rode Three Stage alot, with groups and on my own. I love the technical climbs, the variety, and the downhills back to town. There are so many new trails in there, I rode one day on all new stuff for more than two hours before I figuered out where I was! Great stuff, keep it in good shape, all you (responsible) shreaders. Oh yea, what happened to the North Shore ramps and stuff just inside the parking lot? Recommended Route: Hook up with a Squire's Saturday ride, or do the road ride up the mountain Other recommended trails in the same area: Loree forest, Duntroon loop (is great)

, from Toronto Summary: There is a nice variety of terrain in the 20k+ route that is well laid out and planned. I loved the fact that is was easy to start at the parking lot entrance and without any sense of direction, exit onto the road 150 yards from where we started. Great layout guys. You journey into the forest will reward you with tight twisties, really decent rock sections and a berate of roots and switchbacks to keep the intermediate riders saying holy ----, that was amazing, lets double back! and the advanced riders honing their technical skills. There are not a lot of steeps, but climbs are challenging and you could always turn around at the crest. Last note to mention. It rained the night before pretty heavy, and outside of a few muddy sections, generally, 3 stages have pretty good filtration. Not as good as Hardwood though! Great riding brah, go for it!!!
Recommended Route: Trailhead: From Collingwood, follow grey rd. 19 until it starts to climb up the escarpment. As it goes up the hill, watch for where the Bruce trail comes out of the forest on the right. At this point there is an unmarked road on your left. Take this road to the left until the end. At the end there is parking and the great riding is just further down the old road about a
