Tight, technical singletrack, downhill sections, deep mud, hardpack, obstacles (natural and manmade)such as bridges, logs, ramps, rocks, etc. F-up factor can be huge, but usually you can choose an intermediate or expert route. Network exists of similar trails and some Really Fast fireroads(optional).

Summary:
Awesome mountain bike trail, for intermediate riders and up. Technical sections are really awesome, but for people who are worried about it, can ride around most of it. One of the reviewers before this one talked of a long boring ride with loose rock, etc. Too bad he could'nt find the trail.

Recommended Route:
lower parking lot, path to the left of the rock pile by about 10 meters or so. VERY well hidden.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
12 Mile Dam road. Plenty of road to ride for exercise or something.

Summary:
This is not a mountain bike trail. We found logging roads and snowmobile trails, and you had to ride through a peat bog to get to them. We did see ONE singletrack trail, but it was so overgrown is was unusable; looked as if it hadn't been ridden in years. Most of it was fast, but dangerous as it was all loose dry rock (except for the huge smelly bog puddles in the valleys). It's utterly boring; I was spinning my cranks backward. The most interesting part about this "network of trails" is that it was what the guy at the bike shop in cornerbrrok recommended as THE place to mountain bike in that area. But it's not mountain biking....makes you wonder. It is good for picking blueberries, though, that was the only thing we saw people out there doing. If you go, watch for moose, we saw tracks, and watch out for the berrypickers' dogs.

Recommended Route:
Go someplace else.
