Trail Directions
First, drive to Goulds. Then go about 250m past the harness racing horse track. When you get to Shoal Bay Road, drive down it and go into the main fireroad. Ride for a little bit then when you come to a fork in the road, go either way. But I recommend to take right. Ride again for a while and then turn left into the woods, it is marked up. In the woods there is a long climb on the way back. Keep on following this path and you will end up where you started.

Summary:
This can easily be turned into a 20 km plus ride that includes open fireroad, high speed descents, wooded singletrack, coastal singletrack and some very long climbs. Get a copy of the trail guide for the Avalon area and it will show you the trails to the coast. This trail is suitable for intermediate to advanced riders.

Recommended Route:
This is a much better ride if you take the trail all the way to the ocean and do some of the coastal trail.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Old Petty Harbour Rd.(Kilbride), Bread and Cheese (Bay Bulls)

Summary:
this trail should be a 3 out of 4 or 3 out of 5 for it's rocky terrain and long climbs. It's not a bad cross country singletrack trail though.

Recommended Route:
the same as directed

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Pippy Park and Torbay to Flatrock
