Lots of options. Loops up to 40 Km with technical single track, long fast downhills, gut busting uphills. Great place to ride. Lower parts of Menihek Nordic Ski Trails great for beginners. Optional - Start at the ski club and ride up the cross country trails or straight up Smokey Mountain alpine trails for intense workout

Summary:
The Jean Lake hiking trail is a very tecnical trail, there is alot of walking bridges to catwalk off of and lots of rocks and roots, there is the perfect amount of uphill and downhill sections and also some nice straighaways too.the scenery is very nice as well.I think it the perfect trail for a fun, relaxing ride.

Recommended Route:
On the Jean Lake hiking trail I like to start at the boat house near the dock and head out the trail towards the bridge and continue on from there to the rapids on the other side of the lake and then go the rest of the trail to the field where they hold the reggata every year and then finish off at the boat house to complete the loop.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
I also like the trail at smoky moutain,I's a nice flowing trail that can be technical at some places, over all its a fun trail.

Old cross country trails and Jean lake hiking trail in Wabush. Flat, but can be very technical. Good place to practice skills before hitting the hills.
