Moon Lake

Average Rating:    (0 of 5)

Single track. Lots of climbs and descents. Not so tight that trees are an issue. Hikers may be an issue during prime seasons. Moisture may be an issue in the spring or during periods of rain. The scenery is extremely beautiful include but may include black bears or moose. The trail along the western shore is more technical and so I would suggest a clockwise route beginning from the southern shore near the cookhouse. Make a day of it by hitting the trail a couple of times in the morning, having lunch on the beach and then going for another round in the afternoon. Or, make a weekend of it and camp at the campground on location and check out one of the other trails nearby on day two.
