Summary:
The Brandon Hills are some of the best riding you will find from Ontario to the Rocky Mountains. There are miles upon miles of trail to explore with a great variety of terrain. All skill levels of riders can enjoy the hills. Beginner level riders and families should stick to the groomed skill trails. There are 3 of these (A, B & C loops)
If you are a more experienced rider and are looking for more of a challenge, get off these loops and hit the singletrack. Be warned that you can get lost in the singletrack if you are not paying attention. Be sure you are remembering your turns and landmarks. They do twist and turn and cross over one another a fair bit so keep your bearings straight.
If you are looking for a great ride try to hook up with one of the locals who will be able to show you around. There are some great hidden gems that are hard to find on your own. Check with one of the local bike shops in town for some advice. There are no maps currently out there of the trails. This is why you need to be with someone who knows their way around in order to truely have a good ride.
Don't pass up the opportunity to ride the Hills. You'll be come back for more, guaranteed!

Happy Trails and Good Riding!

Recommended Route:
Anything is good! Experienced riders should try and ride the single track to enjoy the experience.

Summary:
Brandon Hills This was our first trip to the hills, the riding was excellent and very challenging when you branched off from the main ski trails. Lots of ups and downs, rocks and logs to jump over. We did not know the area well and managed to end up going in circles, we thought we would be out for a couple of hours, we spent 5 hours on the trail, ran out of water after 3 hours. Luckily we met up with a local rider Corry who led us back to the main ski trail and back to our truck. A big thanks to Corry.

For those heading out, carry lots of water, the mountain bike trails run east to west, if confused follow the trail you took back. The trails marked for hiking run south to north. There is no marking on the moutain bike trails that branch off from the ski trails.

The riding is for all level of riders.Good brakes are a must. Front suspension is helpful and full suspension will help the back. Local riders are always friendly and you can meet up with some from 8:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. most weekends. Talk to the guys at the bike shops.
