Ingolf Loop

A really fun and pretty loop through the Canadian shield. Many challenging sections across granite slick rock. The trail is easiest to describe and follow going counter clockwise, though that starts with the most difficult terrain first. From the tracks, follow the singletrack and cairns for a couple km. There are a couple left hand side trails to cabins. Eventualy the singletrack hits an ATV trail, turn left. When you hit the first big lake watch for the trail on your left on the top of the last hill before the water. This is part of a portage trail between lakes, stay left at the juction or you head down to the water of the next lake. Trail connects with another ATV trail and you work your way generally left avoiding the tight lefts into cabins. Eventually you have to ride over a beaver dam under the power line - where else can you do that! Follow the ATV trails as they grow more used back to Ingolf.

Trail Directions	Drive clockwise around West Hawk Lake and a few KM past to Ingolf just over the Ontario border. Park near the general store, where the paved road ends. Ride over the train tracks, to their north side, turn right (east)along the tracks. About 100m past the little power line a singletrack drops off to the left.
