Cross Country Rider Summary: This is a great trail for an afternoon jaunt. It also gives you an opportunity for longer all-day routes as it hooks up with other trails after the bison compound.
The trail can be extremely fast with dry conditions. Its not very bumpy as not many horses use this trail!!
I like that this trail gives you different scenery from thich forest to open meadows, and there are 2 campgrounds along the way.
Still one of my favorites in the park! Other recommended trails in the same area: this trail is great for hooking up a longer route to Whitewater Lake!
