, from Saskatoon Summary: I spent 3 years out in Shilo and rode these trails every chance I had. It is possible to put together a 36km quasi loop once you know your way around. If you are ever driving past Brandon you owe it to yourself to spend 1/2 a day and explore the trails. Stick to the single track and just use the ski trails to connect the single track sections. Don't be afraid to take some of the lesser traveled trails as these are newer and some of the most fun. Hook up with a local, there is somebody out there most days and always on the weekends. This trail is suitable for any level of rider, just don't try the really steep stuff if it looks too steep for your ability. Recommended Route: Explore the single track, but make sure you check out the bald hills. Other recommended trails in the same area: Epinette Creek, Riding Mountain, Ski Birch. If you are near here yoy are close enough to go to the May Deh Hay trai in ND 61/2 hours away.

These are official-unofficial names of some of the awesome single-track riding associated with the area. Good riding for beginner's(A,B,C loops and the linking trail system is good for intermediate and skull and crossbones riders. Night-riding is fantastic in the Hills. Recommended Route: Find a good map or ride and explore because the trails usually link up. If you are new to the area remember your way in, then retrace your wheel out. There are trails for riders of varying abilities. WHERE YOUR HEADGEAR! Other recommended trails in the same area: Sprucewoods Provincial Park, Riding Mountain National Park.

, from Brandon Summary: single track, fire road, switchbacks, dropoffs, bridges, ramps, Sorry no 7-11. Contact me if your in the area, I'd be glad to give ya the tour. Personal Note: If you attempt to clear a log and cant, please dont remove the log. Good rule of thumb, if there are chain marks on a log someone is trying to ride it.Dont like the challenge ride the pavement. Recommended Route: Start out in the parking lot and take the cross country ski trail, take the first right (should now be heading South) ride uphill for approx 2km. Take the single track on the left, make the climb, and ride some of manitobas sweetest single track. These challenging trails have been devoloped by dedicated riders wishing to share the experience and the rush with fellow riders. No matter what your skill level is there is a trail to push you to the limit. IF YOUR NOT ON THE EDGE YOUR JUST TAKIN UP SPACE. Other recommended trails in the same area: Spruce Woods, Riding Mountain National Park

, from Minneapolis, Mn Summary: We ran into Brandon Hills quite by accident on our way to Banff. Believe it or not it was mentioned in the AAA travel guide. Anyway, we met a very helpful local in the parking lot that got us started. We didn't have a chance to ride a whole lot but what we did ride was impressive. The area we rode was based off of cross country ski trails loops with tons of additional tight single track branching off of the main loops. The single track was well maintained. From what we saw I would rate these trails intermediate, but I'm guessing there is probably some more difficult areas to be found along the spur routes. I wish we could have spent more time exploring. We found it well worth our time. Recommended Route: Many to choose from
